what a perfect ending to our trip to alicante. the location and views are pretty amazing but the food and service are just as extraordinary. many dishes use local ingredients and even some local dishes that are then transformed. there were many things that i never tried before but would be happy to try again and some dishes were inspirational and something we might even try like the figs with foie gras. our favorites of the night had to be the anchovy cream, the squid sandwich and the tuna back cheek. but the ultimate winner was the tuna cheek, it was so tender it just melted in your mouth. a highly recommend if you are in alicante and want to get away from the touristy area of the old town. you can take a taxi there however i would recommend first heading to castillo de santa barbara and then walking down to the restaurant which is only a ten to fifteen minute walk.
