The last 10 days in the UK. I am Excited for the next move but also very sad to be leaving the UK so soon.
One last trip to Londontown before we leave the UK and lucky for us it was a nice sunny day with blue skies. As we have been to london a few times before we wanted to explore a different area, so we were recommended to go to the south bank. a nice walk next to the river thames and over the millennium bridge to st. paul's cathedral, very nice views of the river and parts of london. then off to a nice dinner at the swan at the shakespeare's globe to enjoy some good food and to watch the sunset. a great ending to our travels in the uk.
the time has come to end one chapter in the Uk but to start a new chapter in Germany. we wish we could have stayed longer but things happen for a reason. i think for the year we were there, we actually saw quite a lot, as weather was a major determining factor. it was an adjustment living in the uk, driving on the left side, roundabouts, narrow country roads, unpredictable weather, british food and the system of british pubs, british humour, and the queens english (even for a native american english speaker, sometimes i couldn't understand them and/or their funny PRONUNCIATIONS of certain words ie privacy). But all in all i had an amazing time and a lot of great memories to cherish.
