Life in Germany November 2017
Thankfully this month there wasn't as much traveling but somehow it was still quite busy.
we were looking for a place nearby to walk around and maybe to do a bit of hiking. after doing some research we decided to head back to neuschweinstein and walk around the alpsee lake. it was a very nice 6-7 km walk around as many of the trees are changing colors and many of the leaves falling. we then hiked up to the neuschweinstein to visit the marie bridge, this time the weather was much nicer, the sky much bluer, so you could see the castle much clearer. It was still very crowded, but i guess it will always be crowded no matter the time of year.
Next stop was a quick trip to Berlin, please click on the link to read more details and see more pictures from my trip.
its starting to look a lot like christmas, well almost. it has started to snow and i am looking forward to my first winter in Germany!
The end of November begins to be one of my FAVORITE times of the year, starting off with thanksgiving. it became a tradition when i was living in shanghai to host thanksgiving dinners for my friends, for some of the americans but mostly for my other international friends. it was an american tradition that i loved to share every year. it is always a lot of work but i love doing it. last year in the uk as i was so busy with school we didn't have a chance to have a proper thanksgiving dinner so this year i really wanted to do the whole thing. so begins the planning and PREPARATION.
