Life in Germany August 2017
A very busy month with a lot of weddings to attend, in czech, in Stuttgart, and in the u.s. Let the wedding season begin!
it was a very nice and warm day so instead of taking a walk around the neighborhood we decided to rent a paddle boat and paddle along the lake. we had never gone that far into the lake before as the only other time we went was for a short swim and we didn't even go that far. so this day we got some sun and some EXERCISE and saw quite a few nice houses with amazing lake views.
Near STUTTGART at the town of Kirchheim unter Teck, there is a 18th-century old castle on top of a small mountain called Burg teck. There is a pretty steep climb up to the castle from the parking lot, it takes about 30 minutes but the view from up top is quite beautiful. There is also a restaurant up there where you get something to eat and drink and enjoy the great view.
the Next few weeks we would attend three weddings, one in czech, one in STUTTGART, and one in santa barbara. for More details on the wedding and trip to Czech, please read more.
the second wedding was near STUTTGART and it would be my first german wedding. the night before there was a huge storm that made the sky a pinkish hue with a rainbow trying to peek through. But everyone was glad that the storm passed as it ended up being a gorgeous day for the wedding. they are also an international couple so it was interesting to see and experience the different cultures mixing, german and brazilian. it was also great to see and spend time with some old friends from shanghai who all seem to be living now in europe.
