What an amazing dining experience, I love that you have to “cook” or warm up the food and you can be creative on the plating. It was well worth the wait to try. as the theme was paris, it was a lot of french food. we started off with little tastes that would fit on a CHARCUTERIE board like cheese, cold cuts, salmon, french butter, pear, COCHONS and all eaten with a baguette. All of it was really tasty and reminded me of what you would find in paris or anywhere in france. Next was the champignon soup which was so creamy and rich, i wanted more but i knew i had to save room, the salad was nice light and fresh break from the soup, it had a nice sweetness from the apples and crunchiness from the hazelnuts, the VINAIGRETTE was also delicious. The tartiflette was supposed to be eaten with the soup and salad but we decided to add it on as a side with the main dish of duck. we couldn’t cook the duck quite right, we had followed the instructions but the duck was still quiet raw in the middle, maybe that is how it is supposed to be but we prefer it a bit more cooked. So we sliced the duck breast then stuck it into the oven for a bit longer. we actually really liked the endives, they had a charred but sweet flavor. and the tartiflette was as rich and as magical as advertised. we had ordered the chocolate souffle as an add-on and this was a good choice, the souffle was light and airy and a perfect ending for a delicious meal. we saved the petit fours for some afternoon teas in the following days.

if you are able to get an order in at any of their take out dinners you will be in for a treat. for the quality of food and the thought and effort behind each dish, it is a great value. ANd it is a fun experience preparing the food at home. but be aware that the portion sizes are quite large, we were four people and barely finished half of it, but that means we did have a lot of delicious leftovers for the next few days. a highly recommend if you are brave enough to do a bit of kitchen work and want a fancy but relatively affordable dinner at home.
