A short and very busy trip to mostly visit friends and family which always involve a lot of eating but in included a work trip to vegas and a quick day trip to La Jolla and a trip to the happiest place on earth, Disneyland. this was a much needed trip, not so relaxing but good quality time with friends and family.

Still had some time to enjoy the nice weather and visit the Getty, we had a special architecture and garden tour, I had learned so much more about the Getty this time than ever before then the weekend was all about celebrating Christmas, cooking and feasting at home.

Over the weekend we drove up a little bit north of LA, first stopping in Montecito and Santa Barbara then in Solvang then dinner in Los Olivos. The next day we continued further to Paso Robles to visit a winery and Sensorio with the last day visiting Hearst castle. It was a nice weekend trip.

The last week of our five week stay was again spending time with friends and family before we had to make our way back to Germany. These couple of weeks went by so quickly but it was a much needed trip for all.
