Holidays in LA December 2021- January 2022

December 10 2021- January 7 2022

we decided to spend the holidays with family in Los angeles as we had not spent so much with time and family there since the start of the pandemic and can’t remember the last time i spent the HOLIDAYS in Los angeles. plus it was nice to get away from the the snow and winter weather. it was such a nice and relaxing holiday, just which is exactly what we needed but never do. as the covid cases were rising we opt for takeaway and eating at home as much as we could, there were plenty of options so we were never without any choices. and when they say it never rains in Los angeles or there is always a drought, it rained for about a week almost nonstop. the heavy rain was good for the trees, plants and soil but not great when you are then stuck inside but we were then able to do a lot around the house and relax. But once the sun came out and it was normal sunny La weather again, we enjoyed taking some walks and doing some hikes, also to help burn off a little of the food we were eating. we hope to be back soon and hope to spend more time with family and friends next step, something that became even more SIGNIFICANT this time around was the importance of friends, family and the people around you. in an instant it or someone can be taken away and life changes immediately, so appreciate the time we have with each other, cherish it.
