We usually arrive around noon time on sunday in alicante but our flights were rescheduled to arrive then on saturday early evening. we had actually never been in alicante over the weekend, always had stayed from sunday to either until wednesday or friday so it definitely gets quite crowded in the city over the weekend. but we had to keep some traditions going, our first meal at bar manero.
palm sunday, the start of the easter celebrations and processions through the old town and the weather was amazing, blue skies and turquoise waters. Sun was out but there was still a nice cool breeze. Had a light lunch of steamed mussels and patatas bravas as we were going to have a big dinner at terre.

Walks around old town alicante, 45 day dry aged steak for dinner, watching more of the easter celebration processions and churros. A nice easy relaxing day.
