Leben in Deutschland December 2018
Christmas Markets, snow, and cold weather. it is really nice to be in germany during the holidays, everything is decorated and people seem to really get into the holiday spirit.
I was amazed at just how many christmas markets there were, as december 1st was approaching all the christmas markets began to open. within münchen there were over 20 different christmas markets, it would be impossible to visit all of them. but the most interesting and eclectic one was definitely the winter festival at tollwood, i will absolutely be going back next december and will spend more time wandering around. they have two large tents filled with so many different tiny stalls selling almost everything, i also saw that there was a variety of things to eat and drink that you WOULDN’T normally find at christmas markets.

To end the year we headed back to mÜnchen and did some exploring around the area as my parents were still visiting. the weather wasn’t that great and many of the sights were closed for the holidays so there was plenty of time to just relax at home and have some home cooked meals.
