Leben in Deutschland Oktober 2018
This month there was not much going on as we are in the middle of moving and getting the new house ready, so the weekends and any free time has been spent working on the house. THEREFORE not much time to do much of anything else. but it was crazy how fast the weather changed this month, at the beginning of the month it felt like summer again then towards the end of the month it was winter. Hope it won’t be too cold or a long winter.

We went back to walter and benjamin for another interesting meal. even if you don’t do the 4, 5, 6, or 7 course menu but just order a la carte, you should still do the wine pairing. many of the wines are so unique, most i wouldn’t dare to try or even know to try them. Some wines on their own had a very particular taste and a few were slightly difficult to drink but once paired with the food, it works so well like a match made in heaven. Not only is the wine interesting but the food is as well, very unusual flavors and flavor combinations, even the desserts were mixing sweet and savory flavors. it is a nice little place with good quality food and drinks and good service.
