we were looking for a restaurant where we could try a lot of local dishes and ingredients.
Octopus Salad
Swordfish and Tuna “Ceviche” with Lime
Goat Meat Croquettes with Sweet Chili Sauce
Fried fresh sardines with mayo
Chocolate mousse with olive oil, caramelised egg white
What a fun and delicious meal we enjoyed. They do require a two-plate minimum per person, but that isn’t too difficult to achieve since these are small, tapas-style plates meant for sharing and sampling a variety of flavors. We ended up having three plates each, plus dessert, which was quite a generous amount of food, yet we didn’t leave feeling overstuffed or uncomfortable. The servers were excellent—very attentive and genuinely helpful when making recommendations about which dishes to choose. Each time a plate arrived, they took the time to explain the ingredients and preparation, which added to the overall experience. It’s important to note that the restaurant does not take reservations, so seating is strictly first come, first served. However, because it’s a tapas-style restaurant serving smaller dishes as they’re ready, there isn’t usually a long wait between plates. This quick turnover helps keep the wait times for tables relatively short as well. We chose to arrive early since we skipped lunch, so we had an early dinner, which was a smart move. Overall, this spot is definitely a must-try when visiting Lisbon.
