on our last night of our short holiday at lago di garda we decided to go a bit fancier and it was actually just right across the street from our hotel.

The food and view were unbeatable, sometimes when you have a restaurant with a nice view you really just pay for the view and the food becomes such an after thought, even though it still can cost you quite a lot. however this was the complete opposite, you get an amazing unobstructed view of lago di garda, the dishes are really delicious, the setting is really nice even having a live music played on the piano and all of this you expect that it will cost you but it was actually quite reasonable. So a highly recommend if you are near the southern area of lago di garda.
They do offer plenty of tasting menus but we choose to do a la carte as there were some dishes that we wanted to try that were not on the tasting menu. we each choose four dishes but there were plenty of amuse bouches, palate cleansers and after dessert surprises. you should definitely go hungry or leave a lot of space to enjoy all the food, we were stuffed by the end of the meal. maybe the tasting menus serve smaller portions, we might need to try that next time.
