what a lovely dinner, not only because of the celebration but the food and service at citrin were top notch. We started out with some delicious passed hors d'oeuvre, perfect bite size pieces to get our appetites going. Forgot to take pictures, too much going on. But after some mingling and eating the rest of the hors d’oeuvre we sat down to start the dinner. each course the dishes were served at exactly the same time, a bit intimidating but also impressive. all the dishes were really good and super delicious, it is really hard to pick a favorite or favorites. most people did order the beef dish but i would highly recommend to also order the dirty chicken, the meat was super tender and moist and had a lot of flavor.

if you can get a reservation at melisse, i am sure it is well worth it but if not then citrin is not a bad second option. it is run by the same chef and heard that some classic “melisse” dishes are now citrin dishes, so you do get a very high quality standard of food and service. and if you do not want to dine out then cirtin offers food to go.
