A friend luckily got a late reservation, which apparently is so difficult to come by. So we had to give it a try.
fiori di zucca- squash blossoms and bellwether farms ricotta. Who doesn’t love fried squash blossoms, but the ricotta inside was really good and a good portion. we could have had more.
Burrata E Pesche- andys orchard peaches, burrata campana and basil. so good especially when it is peach season and the combination with the burrata and basil. it is a must try only in season though.
fincione- focaccia siciliana, rosemary, sea salt and olive oil. So soft, just melts in your mouth and the rosemary isn’t too overpoweringly strong.
fichi e prosciutto- mozzarella di bufala, summer figs, prosciutto di parma, aceto balsamico 50 yr. I think one of my favorite pizzas I have had in a long time. delicious seasonal figs give that sweet creaminess add in the salty meaty PROSCIUTTO and the creamy bufala mozzarella and all that on top of a crisp and chewy pizza dough. yum!
bistecca di maiale- peads & barnetts pork shoulder steak, andys orchard peaches, lemon and basil. I would have never thought peaches and pork but it worked very well.
spaghettone alla norma- melanzane fritte, pomodorini, basil and ricotta salata. also delicious, the eggplants were nicely cooked, not too mushy and had a nice crisp almost charred skin.
If you can get a reservation even a very early or late one then take it, you will not be dissapointed. with all the dishes we ordered each one of them were really delicious, I wish we could have tired the whole menu but hopefully we are lucky enough to snag another reservation next time. the menu isn’t so large but it has enough of a selection. I would highly highly recommend.
