THe month started with a quick trip to France with a two day stop in Paris. as we are still in a lockdown in Germany, life is pretty much the same with lots of cooking and enjoying both the spring weather days and winter snow days.

We finally are having what looks like to be a real winter we had a few days of real snowfall, so it was so nice and pretty to enjoy the winter wonderland.

Normally I am more excited for this time of the year as everyone gets in the holiday spirit but this year was tough to get so festive as all the christmas markets were canceled and large celebrations and gatherings were not allowed. It was a very quiet holiday season i hope that next year all is back to normal.

We had a few more nice and warm days but then the temperature dropped, fall has officially begun. This year is going by so quickly, feels faster than years before. The weeks and months seem to blend together, I guess that happens when the world is still in a state of limbo and constant uncertainty. I really do hope it all gets better.

Another month of staying at home. At least we had nice weather for most of the month, that meant lots of walks and biking around the neighborhood and of course a lot of cooking at home.

What a strange month this was, the weather and the pandemic. Life all around the world has been halted to an almost stand still. Being confined to our houses has been a huge adjustment for all but at least for me that means more and more cooking and the occasionally walk around the neighborhood when the weather has been abided.

We are supposed to be in the middle of winter but many days have felt like spring. Strangest and I think the warmest winter weather to date and then a few days towards the end we finally got some snow but it went away as fast as it came in.

This year unexpectedly started a bit crazy, as we were showcasing at the furniture show in cologne at the beginning of the month. So that took up much of my time and life in January.

I was gone for part of the month traveling to Milan and Paris, but upon arriving back we had many beautiful and warmer days, some days even felt like summer. It was crazy to see how much more green everything was in just a matter of a week or two. But the warm weather didn’t last so long, a very cold front and some stormy weather came through and it felt like winter again.
