Back at enyaa again, this was my fourth time this year going. It is good but i definitely need a break from coming back.
Sorboro Chicken with Rice and Red Miso Soup- One of their signature dishes. this time was tastier and less dry than the last time. however the miso soup was a bit too salty.
Chawanmushi with Wild Mushrooms and Tomatoes. This one was much better than the last time as the mushrooms were more rich in flavor.
Tempura of vegetables and half cooked chicken. again it was very good, crispy but with a very thin batter.
Almost the same bento box as last time, except for the bottom left. THis time it was scallops with persimmon, radish and a dashi gelee.
One of sakes we had during our lunch.
and again for dessert the oh so delicious Hojicha panna cotta.
I know i said it last time, but seriously i need a very long break from eating here as some of the dishes although very delicious tended to repeat itself. but this time was a celebrating for my fathers birthday, some of the guests had not been and others had been there before, but as its so good were anxious to come back. i guess in the end it is good to get my japanese fix while in paris as i haven’t found the same quality and value of japanese food in germany. if you are in paris and after a few days are a bit tired of eating french food then enyaa is a nice switch for some more SIMPLER and lighter food.
