Ingredients:

  • 3 to 4 ripe bananas

  • 1/4 cup melted butter

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1 1/2 cups flour

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1 egg, beaten

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • Chocolate chips (optional, add as many as you want)

  • walnuts or any other nuts, chopped (optional, also add as many as you want)

Method:

Preheat oven to 350F/ 175C. Butter the loaf pan. Mash the bananas in a bowl. Add all the remaining ingredients and mix well with a wooden spoon. Pour batter in the pan (i usually like to sprinkle a few crushed nuts and chocolate chips on top). Bake in pan until a toothpick stuck into the bread comes out clean, 55 to 60 minutes. Slice and serve.

this is one of the easiest and quickest banana bread recipe that you will find, but it is still super delicious and moist. you can just make the recipe just as it is with only bananas but i always like to add some chocolate chips and nuts to give some more flavor and texture. this recipe is so easy and comes out perfectly every time, plus i love the smell of freshly baked banana bread filling the house.
